The list of RNA Expression Experiments has been subdivided to make it easier to find experiments of interest based on the intent or purpose of the experiment.

The categories were created to cover the set of experiments available (Summer 2006). In the original classification, each experiment fit best in only one category based on reading the documentation for each experiment (study) available in RAD (RNA Abundance Database). As new experiments are added, it is possible that they may be placed in more than one category however this will be avoided if possible.
