PaGE 5.0 Documentation - the "id2info" file

Select menu choice Data Open id2info file

This file is optional, but is recommended for easier interpretation of the results.

The id2info file is a file which maps ID's to names or descriptions. These will be included in the output file.

Note 1: It is not necessary that the file id2info contain info for every ID, those for which there isn't information should be omitted from the file. There should not be lines with just an ID and no description.
Note 2: The rows in the id2info file do not need to be in the same order as the rows in the data file.

Example: The first few lines of your file might look like this:
