What's New

A new version of EPConDB has been released.

Lists of genes and queries for genes with promoters containing HNF1 or HNF6 binding sites, identified by ChIP-Chip experiments, are now available.

Find Your Favorite Gene

Find transcripts from our Database of Transcribed Sequences (DoTS) associated with your gene. The searches in this section also consider genes that are on the selected version of the human or mouse PancChips or genes where their predicted promoters are on a selected version of the mouse PromoterChips.

Gene Name: Performs an "exact" text match for a gene name or symbol and retrieves links to DoTS transcripts. Use the "?" button below for the "best match" possible option.
Gene Expression: Performs an exact text match for a gene name or symbol and retrieves links to expression profiles using DoTS Transcripts.
Quick ID Search: Is there a DT representing your gene on a PancChip? Enter your RefSeq, Accession or Entrez Gene Id below to match against transcripts on the PancChip.

Quick ID Search: Is there a Promoter Element for your Gene on a Promoter Chip? Enter your RefSeq or Entrez Gene Id below.

Find Your Favorite Gene using BLAST

Find transcripts from our Database of Transcribed Sequences (DoTS) for your gene quickly with these searches.

BLAST: Paste in your nucleic acid sequence here to search against genes on the newest human or mouse PancChips or other subsets of the latest DoTS release. For more control over the search parameters, use the BLAST link in the menu above.

DoTS Transcript ID: Use this search to return to any Database of Transcribed Sequences (DoTS) transcript you found previously for your gene.

Queries for Transcripts or Genes, Experiments and Analysis

Use these transcript, expression or analysis queries to find all transcripts that match descriptions, including tissue expression and binding sites in promoters.

Transcripts or Genes: Use queries in this menu to find sets of DoTS transcripts using their tissue expression, annotations and identifiers.
Experiments: Download results from microarray experiments.
Analysis: Use queries in this menu to look for combinations of binding sites in promoters.
