Beta Cell Biology Consortium ends

On August 1, 2015, the Beta Cell Biology Consortium (BCBC) came to an end. Started in 2001 to understand beta cell biology and how to make beta cells, the BCBC provided information and access to its resources through the betacell.org web site. The Beta Cell Genomics component was based at CBIL and provided data mining of gene expression, epigenetic, and transcription factor binding datasets. The information previously found at those sites is now summarized in a Resource Catalog and all betacell.org and genomics.betacell.org URLs resolve to the Catalog.
